A Decade of Kitchen Transformations and Franchise Success

Susan and Charlie Johnson have been running their Kitchen Tune-Up franchise in Little Rock, AR since 2009 and are one of the 30% of owners that operate a retail space. They are a husband and wife duo who split duties based on their expertise and make joint decisions for all major components of the business.

Charlie’s focus is operations, so he is behind the scenes working on installation details, doing accounting and financial work, and checking in on the job sites. Susan works with the clients and handles sales appointments both in the client’s home and in the showroom.

They both aim to leave the office at 5:30 or 6:00 each night so they have time with their children and grandchildren that live in the area. Their English Lab, Avie, comes to the showroom daily to greet customers!
