This week’s feature is Kseniya Conniff, owner of Kitchen Tune-Up Atlanta Buckhead Sandy Springs. Kseniya and her team have been updating kitchens across the Atlanta region since 2018. Thanks for the interview, Kseniya!
What was your career before becoming a Tunie?
Prior to Kitchen Tune-Up, I was in software support.
Why did you want to become a KTU franchise?
Something I’ve always wanted to do was be my own boss, and I felt like it was finally time.
What comes to mind as your most memorable kitchen update?
My customers had a very old kitchen that hadn’t been updated in 30 years and seeing the surprise on their faces after giving them a new kitchen in a week was priceless!
When you’re not working, what is your favorite hobby or pastime?
I love checking out new restaurants and things to do, exploring the city, and kayaking.
Do you have a favorite cabinet door style?
Anything in a 5-piece shaker style.
What have you found to be the biggest benefit to franchise ownership?
The biggest benefit has really been the support from the home office in getting my business up and running.
What local affiliations do you belong to?
I’m on the board of Vinings Preservation Society, which is a non-profit established to preserve some of the most historic structures in our area.
What is your Mission Statement?
My mission is to give everyone the kitchen of their dreams because they deserve it!
Why do you enjoy being a kitchen remodeler?
My favorite part is the before/after results. I also enjoy changing people’s perceptions about kitchen remodeling. It does not have to drag out forever and create a huge mess. We are also very responsive to our customers’ questions or concerns and we keep the communication channel open.
