Franchisee Spotlight: Peter Coleman
Constantly evolving our proven system to suit the needs of our valued family of franchisees, nothing speaks louder than the voice of the franchisee him- or herself when it comes to satisfaction with Kitchen Tune-Up. Meet Peter Coleman.
Why did you choose Kitchen Tune-Up?
I realized that my career had always involved me working for someone else, and I felt ready to change that. I wanted to be my own boss and work for myself. The Kitchen Tune-Up model fit what I wanted for myself and my family – proven, revenue-driven, and part of the community.
What is your career background?
My background is in food and beverage management – I went to culinary school and was a chef for 20 years. I operated hotel restaurants, banquets, and catering as well as college food service. This factors in well with KTU – the same sort of customer service mindset is key, as well as time management, organizational skills, and inventory/budgeting.
How have you found the support from Kitchen Tune-Up?
One of the things that initially attracted me to Kitchen Tune-Up was the continual support that franchisees receive long after we open our businesses. I like the mindset that learning is an ongoing process.
Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I love to go fishing with my children and spend time with my wife.
